One of the "specialty" of the interior was a wall for inscriptions, where you can leave your own review or wish, or draw something.
In this wall there is a niche in which the model of the Trypillian settlement is placed (at the time of writing, it was not yet complete).
Also like to mention the corner of Diogenes in the interior of the Tasting Room, where the bookshelves resemble barrels. If someone does not know: the ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes of Sinope (about 400-325 BC) lived in a barrel. The library contains books about wine and winemaking. A chessboard is also installed there so that you can remember how to play chess.
The decoration of the basement walls was not used in its design (drywall was dismantled, Soviet plaster was repelled) to show their historical value. On one of the bricks, the surname of the owner of the brick factory (E.V. Purcell) was even preserved. A basement was built from these bricks in the 1870s (initially it was a one-story building, which was later rebuilt). The bar rack wall is made of oak rivets from Cricova cellars, which are 50-60 years old. Preserved its natural color.
New items are placed in the Enomatic system, which holds 16 bottles. It allows you to store wine in uncorked bottles (under a pad of inert gas) without loss of quality for 28 days. True, during the test period of the hall, not a single wine lasted longer than 11 days. In addition, it is very convenient for the so-called "express tastings" of wines. In this case, you can try a large number of wines in a very short time in self-service mode.
