It is known about the Rare Black variety that it has a special nobility, it is not for nothing that it is often compared to the French Pinot Noir. The variety feels very good on the terroir of the Republic of Moldova, and in the Purcari vineyards it seems to develop a special aromatic concentration. For this wine from the Sapiens range, Rara Neagră grapes are picked by hand and turned into wine using traditional methods to highlight their varietal characteristics as much as possible. Purcari Sapiens Rara Neagra then remains for 9 months in new French oak barriques, for maturation, and at the end it appears concentrated and flawless, ideally balanced and intensely aromatic. An ideal temperature of 16 - 18 degrees Celsius will fully reveal its character in a perfectly compatible culinary tasting with mature cheeses and cheeses with an intense taste.
