The story of Ulinici Winery begins in the childhood of Nicu Ulinici, the founder and winemaker of the winery. His father was also a winemaker, and Nicu grew up on the winery grounds and among the family vineyards. In his teenage years, after his father’s winery ceased operations, he dreamed of a small family winery that would produce wine from the 5 hectares of vineyards in his father’s native village. After many years, during which he built a successful lavender business—whose influence is reflected in the winery’s logo—his dream became reality in the form of Crama Ulinici. Thanks to his accumulated experience and the secrets passed down from father to son, in 2020, in the village of Valea-Trestieni, Nisporeni district, Crama Ulinici produced wine for the first time. Noteworthy are the wines made from the new-generation grape variety “Bianca”.
