Pelican Negru wines are unique in both terroir and technology. The terroir is located in the famous Purcari microzone,
in the village of Olănești. Vineyards on the slopes are located at an altitude of 99 meters above sea level. The vines
are planted with a low density, and the harvest is no less than usual. Each bunch receives the full energy of the sun
and soils.
Pelican Negru is also distinguished by the production of biodynamic wines.
Pelican Negru - the first winery, which practices the production of biodynamic wine. Pelican Negru dedicates all its
energy to growing grapes, through the natural care of the grapevines, something that is rare nowadays. The wines
with a philosophical character, produced in blends of varieties, one better than the other, are characterized as being
emblematic of winemaking in the Republic of Moldova.
