Unicorn Winery is a mini-winery, with terroirs in two regions of Moldova. They mainly grow white varieties in the
center of the country, while red varieties grow in the south. The southern terroir is located in the famous Purcari
microzone, where the mineral-rich sandy soil is fanned by the Black Sea breezes.
Unicorn presents proprietor's wines created by a professional winemaker with experience in the Napa Valley in the
USA and in France. Vinul Miresei white wine is especially famous.
Each Unicorn Winery wine contains a drop of wine from the vineyards of Mount Athos. “Together with seven monks
from the Krumnitsa monastery, I create wine. And every wine I make contains a dash of Mount Athos wine. I feel I
have to do this, I feel it’s right,” says the winemaker.
Every bottle of wine is made under control of the winemaker and founder of the Unicorn Estate, Sergiu Galușca.
