The Ganea family decided to restore the
winery of the German colonist August
Bauer, founded in 1865, and created Ganea
Vineyards. This company is now known for the
Land of Basarabia wine brand.
The winery has one of the southernmost
sunny terroirs in Moldova. At the same time,
the vineyards are refreshed by salty Black Sea
breezes. Classic and autochthonous varieties
are grown here. The wines of this producer
are served in Michelin restaurants in China.
