Two aspiring winemakers founded Bahu in 2020. The name of the winery reflects both the name of the village and the
name of the Roman god of wine, Bacchus.
Bahu is a young winery with very old vineyards. There are vines that are over 50 years old, which is unique for our
country. Such vines yield grapes that give very extractive wines.
The rich grapevine gives the wine a special strength and character. Bahu wines with a terroir accent from the Codru
area are distinguished by their structure, very fresh but at the same time with character.
The wine with traditional varieties such as Sauvignon, Riesling, Traminer, Cabernet Franc are characterized by a great
aging potential, the winemaker’s style with an innovative touch is felt
