Basavin Winery vineyards are located
75 km from the Black Sea, on sunny
hillsides. These are southern, full-bodied
wines, including interesting Albernet
variety, unusual for Moldova. Grapes
are harvested by hand, with two-stage
sorting. Then the grapes are processed
using modern French equipment.
