„Mileştii Mici” is a winery with a 50 years old tradition in producing and aging wines, founded in underground galleries with a total length of 200 km. As a result of limestone mining, there were created ideal conditions for a long storage of wines selected from the best vineyards of our country. In 2005 „Mileştii Mici” was registered in the Guinness Book of Records for the largest wine collection in the world, that counts about 1,5 mln. bottles of wine stored at a depth of 80 meters underground. At the moment, „Mileştii Mici” winery is specialized in producing, aging and sale of wines, and also wine tourism – a new field that developed greatly during the last years, due to the fast growing number of tourists visiting us each day. Being a chef d’oeuvre of the Moldavian winemaking, „Mileştii Mici” is well known for its quality wines that take part in different international contests and bring back home medals, rewards and worldwide recognition.
